Holy Saturday

That Saturday after Jesus died must have been a difficult time for His disciples. Their joy and their hope must have died along with their Master.
And just like them,
…we might be in a seemingly hopeless situation right now
…we might be struggling to find reasons to be glad.
But,
Holy Saturday,
a day when darkness seemed to be filling,
a day when death seemed to be winning…
…was just a transition
from darkness into light,
from death into life.
On Friday, He died but on Sunday, He lives.
Saturday is a reminder that no matter what difficult situation we are in right now,
there is always hope in Jesus.
Romans 6:5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection.
